Licensed Clinical Social Worker
She/Her/Hers
Locations: Brentwood and Telehealth
Rachel Brann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating OCD, OCD spectrum disorders, and anxiety disorders. She has worked in higher levels of care treating clients and with OCD and anxiety since 2022 and has experience supporting clients with both moderate and high-acuity presentations. Rachel is passionate about helping people break free from fear so they can build more authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.

Rachel earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and has specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through her work at Rogers Behavioral Health, where she provided treatment in Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) settings. Her clinical background also includes work with survivors of sexual assault and experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. In addition to ERP, Rachel incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and self-compassion-focused interventions into her work. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, trauma-informed, and holistic. She believes therapy works best when clients feel accepted, understood, and able to show up authentically.

Rachel aims to create a therapeutic space that feels warm, human, and approachable rather than overly clinical. She believes humor and levity can be powerful tools for navigating the pain that often accompanies OCD and anxiety disorders. Rachel helps clients shift from viewing themselves through the lens of self-judgment toward approaching themselves with greater curiosity, compassion, and understanding. She understands how draining it can be to feel stuck in cycles of intrusive thoughts and is passionate about helping clients respond to their thoughts in new ways. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns they want to change, clarify their values, and practice responding to discomfort in ways that support the life they desire. Rachel is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcomes clients of all identities and backgrounds.

Outside of the therapy room, Rachel enjoys getting a little too competitive at estate sales, spending time with her four cats Poppy, Violet, Moon, and Alice, taking on new house projects, and keeping a rotating lineup of coffee, Diet Coke, and sparkling water within arm’s reach.
