The Nashville OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Postdoctoral Associate to join our team. While we expect to fill the position for the 2023-2024 academic year, we will accept applications from candidates whose circumstances necessitate an earlier or later start date. This position will provide extensive training in evidence-based treatments for OCD, anxiety, and related disorders and will give applicants an opportunity to provide individual and group services both in person and virtually. The Postdoctoral Associate will accrue hours toward full licensure in the state of Tennessee, carrying a caseload of approximately 20 clinical contact hours per week. One hour of weekly individual supervision with Amy Mariaskin, PhD, and one hour of group supervision with a multidisciplinary team will be provided on a weekly basis. Primary responsibilities include conducting phone screenings for potential clients, performing psychodiagnostic assessments for incoming clients, providing individual therapy, maintaining documentation, and participating in didactics and clinical team meetings. Other potential opportunities may include participation in community outreach events, and presenting at local and national conferences.
Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. citizens who have completed an APA-approved doctoral program and internship in clinical, counseling, or school psychology. Clinical experience with individuals across the lifespan using a Cognitive Behavioral framework is required, and experience with Exposure and Response Prevention and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is preferred. Prior to the starting the position, applicants must obtain a provisional license to practice in the state of Tennessee.

The NOATC is seeking a Licensed Psychologist or Therapist (LPC, LMST, or LCSW) to join our team. Ideally, the new therapist will start in fall/winter of 2023, but we can be flexible if it's an excellent fit. The therapist will provide evidence-based treatments for OCD, anxiety, and related disorders in a vibrant private practice setting. Our clientele consists of individuals across the lifespan seeking effective care both in person and virtually. The NOATC provides a supportive environment for therapists who value collaboration over competition and strive for life-long learning. Candidates must possess an independent Tennessee license (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, LMFT, or Psychologist), be credentialed through PsyPact, or be license eligible in TN. They must have at least one year of experience implementing evidence-based interventions for OCD and anxiety, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as experience working with child and adolescent clients. The ideal candidate will also embody our core values of compassion, creativity, and commitment to evidence-based care.
Preferred candidates will be actively engaged with the local therapy community and will demonstrate excellent case conceptualization and communication skills. Speaking a language other than English is also a plus. Primary responsibilities will include conducting psychodiagnostic assessments for incoming clients, providing individual therapy services, maintaining documentation, and participating in didactics and clinical team meetings. Other potential opportunities may include leading/co-leading group therapy, supervision of student trainees, participation in community outreach events, and presenting at local and national conferences.
