Kaiya is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University. Her research, which examines the complex relationship between psychopathology and substance use, informs her clinical understanding of OCD and its common comorbidities. Kaiya is dedicated to providing effective, evidence-based care. She works collaboratively and compassionately with clients to help them confront their fears, build practical skills, and reduce the influence of anxiety in their lives. Her goal is to empower and equip you with the tools to navigate challenges and reclaim your life from OCD.
When not in the clinic or working on her studies, Kaiya enjoys exploring nearby waterfalls and parks, reading, yoga, and skating. She is supervised by Hillary Freshley, Psy.D.
