Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD). She has extensive experience helping individuals understand how conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD and trauma can affect and be influenced by food and nutrition. Her work history has included inpatient hospitals, residential and outpatient levels of care, and she has worked with all genders and a variety of ages.
Rachel has a passion for helping clients optimize their relationship with food and their bodies. Her nutrition counseling style utilizes an empathetic, Intuitive Eating and non-diet approach to empower individuals to make lasting behavior change. As a proponent of Health at Every Size (HAES), she strives to simplify nutrition and provide her clients with the tools necessary to achieve optimal health and higher self-confidence. With emphasis on Intuitive Eating, she loves to help people feel more connected and present in their own bodies as well as learn to trust and understand their body’s cues.
A native of Arizona, she earned her Bachelor of Nutritional Science degree from the University of Arizona where she also completed her dietetic internship. In her free time, Rachel enjoys exploring Nashville, making a mess in the kitchen with new recipes, and snuggling her beloved pets.
